Cancellations & Rescheduling

 

No Shows, Last Minute Cancellations & Showing up without your Instruction Permit, creates an economic hardship on our small firm!

 

Please understand: when we make an appointment for a student, we commit our full resources to that appointment. If that person fails to honor their commitment to show up for that appointment and does not give us sufficient prior notice to backfill it, we still suffer the expense of our overhead, yet do not generate income to offset it. Therefore, we have a policy to assess a service fee for customers that put us in that situation.

In the event that a student is unable to keep their appointment, simply notify us 24 hours in advance. This allows us to back-fill that slot with another student.

 

In the event that we are not given 24 hours notice or a student shows up without their instruction permit or payment, we will charge a fee of $60.00 to cover our loses.


You can avoid this by simply calling us and having your permit and payment with you! We even call every number we have on file, to attempt to confirm your appointment, collect your payment and remind you to bring your permit, the day before your appointment! Regardless, we will still lose income from your cancellation; the $60.00 fee only covers our loss of outgoing expenses.

 

To address the student’s responsibilities:


To show up with their permit and payment at the agreed upon place and time and in an appropriate condition to operate a motor vehicle. If unable to show up, to notify us a minimum of 24 hours in advance or on the Friday before a Monday appointment.

 

Emergencies MUST be confirmed by a Parent and approved by KDS as an emergency: skiing, field trips, conflicting sports obligations, concerts, etc. do not qualify as such!
