Teen Driver Training Program

Our Driver Training course consists of 3, two hour lessons. We attempt to space those lessons over the time-frame that the student is on their permit.

All lessons are administered with one student in the vehicle and are two hours long.

Instruction is available Monday thru Friday: throughout the day and after-school.

We offer our teen driving program in the Ukiah area only; as we feel that the traffic and controls in the Ukiah valley strongly contribute to the integrity of the course (therefore our pickup and drop-off service for students is limited to the Ukiah and Redwood Valley areas only).

The 1st lesson will validate the students permit and give the basic instruction.

After the 1st lesson, the student may practice with any California licensed adult driver sitting in the front seat; in a position to control the vehicle.

The 2nd lesson will critique/correct their driving and then move onto the maneuvers and other areas of instruction that we did not have time to cover on the 1st lesson.

The 3rd lesson will incorporate a final exam similar to the DMV test (but much more thorough), explain the DMV’s scoring criteria and critique your performance; thereby assisting to prepare you for the DMV test.

Be advised! If a student shows up for an appt. and in the instructors opinion it would be unsafe to allow them to drive due to sickness, inebriation, lack of sleep, agitated attitude, etc., the appointment will be cancelled, must be rescheduled and you will be charged the full amount for that lesson! As well, every parent should make sure at all times that it is appropriate for their son or daughter to operate
a motor vehicle before allowing them to do so!
